I co-founded and ran 16HOURS Magazine from May 2011 to May 2013. The quarterly magazine was a collaborative endeavour created to motivate its readers to go beyond only reflecting on words of inspiration, but to also live by them. I handled everything from curation of the issues to design and layout of the magazine.
We published 7 issues:

The West Coast Trail is a 75km long backpacking trail following the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
It was built in 1907 to facilitate the rescue of survivors of shipwrecks along the coast, part of the treacherous Graveyard of the Pacific. It is often rated by hiking guides as one of the world’s top hiking trails.
I hiked the trail over 4 days with a small group of friends in July of 2012.
I collaborated with TRUE MVMNT to create the Four in Four project. The idea: To document a trip across four states in four days where we would explore as much of the American Southwest as possible.
We decided to create Four in Four for one simple reason: To inspire others to get outside and truly experience the outdoors. To turn curiosities into obsessions. Outings into overnighters. Pastimes into passions. To hopefully spark a sense of adventure in others.
We started the trip in San Francisco and explored Southern California, Utah, Arizona and Colorado.
All photos are shot with a Nikon D800 and processed with VSCO. The short film was shot on RED and processed with VSCO.
Shoot for Ducati commissioned by TRUE MVMNT to shoot a range of stills to accompany a video production.
